BlockLoom: Block Puzzle
Your privacy, clearly explained

Privacy Policy

How BlockLoom handles game progress, device information, advertising data, and your privacy choices.

Effective 18 October 2026 Last updated 18 October 2026 Android only
The short version

BlockLoom does not require an account. Scores, settings, streaks, and assist credits are stored locally on your device. Google services may process limited device and usage data as described below.

01 · Overview

About this policy

This Privacy Policy applies to BlockLoom: Block Puzzle (the “App”), package identifier com.blockloom.blockpuzzle, on Android only. It explains what information is handled when you use the App, why it is used, when it may be shared, and the choices available to you.

In this policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to BLUE STORE, the company that develops and operates BlockLoom. The App is an offline-first block puzzle game. Some network features, including ad delivery, may connect to Google services.

No accountNo registration or profile

You do not need to provide a name, email address, phone number, password, or social account to play.

Local firstProgress stays on-device

Core game progress and preferences are saved in local app storage and are not uploaded by us.

Third partyGoogle services

Firebase supports technical app services, and Google Mobile Ads may serve and measure ads.

ControlYou have choices

You can reset the App’s local data, manage advertising controls, and contact us about privacy rights.

02 · Data we handle

Information collected or processed

A. Information stored only on your device

The App uses local storage to remember:

  • best score and total lines cleared;
  • sound, music, and haptic preferences;
  • selected block theme;
  • daily challenge completion date and streak;
  • remaining hint and reshuffle credits; and
  • whether the App has already prompted you for notification permission.

We do not receive this local gameplay information. It remains on your device unless your operating system includes it in a device backup that you control.

B. Information processed by Firebase

The App uses Firebase for technical app services. Firebase service data may include a Firebase installation ID, app identifiers, package or bundle ID, IP address, and technical or operational information. This information is used to deliver and secure those services.

C. Information processed for advertising

When advertising is enabled, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share the following categories for advertising, analytics, service performance, and fraud prevention:

CategoryExamplesPurpose
Approximate locationGeneral location estimated from IP addressAd delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention
App activityApp launches, taps, ad interactions, and video viewsAdvertising and analytics
App and performance informationDiagnostics such as launch time, hang rate, and energy usageService performance, analytics, and fraud prevention
Device or other identifiersAdvertising ID, app set ID, and other applicable device or account-related identifiersAdvertising, measurement, and fraud prevention

Depending on your region, consent choices, device settings, and Google’s configuration, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or used only for technical delivery. Rewarded ads are optional: you choose whether to watch one in exchange for an in-game benefit. Banner, native, interstitial, and app-open ads may also appear.

D. Information you voluntarily provide

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, message, and any troubleshooting details. Please do not send sensitive personal information.

E. Information we do not ask you to provide

The current App does not provide user accounts and does not ask for your name, postal address, contacts, precise location, photos, videos, microphone recordings, health information, payment details, or government identifiers.

F. Android notification permission

The App may request Android notification permission after the Home screen appears. You can allow or deny the request and change your choice at any time in Android settings. The App stores a local flag recording whether it has already prompted you, so it does not repeatedly ask. The current version does not send or schedule notifications, and granting permission does not enable additional data collection by us.

03 · Use

How information is used

Information described above is used to:

  • operate the game and remember your progress and preferences on your device;
  • operate and maintain app and advertising services;
  • request, display, cap, measure, and improve ads;
  • detect invalid traffic, abuse, security issues, and technical failures;
  • respond to support or privacy inquiries; and
  • meet legal obligations and enforce applicable terms.

Where laws such as the GDPR apply, the relevant legal bases may include performance of our agreement with you (providing the game), our legitimate interests (maintaining, securing, and improving the App), consent (including where required for personalized advertising or device storage), and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing relies on consent.

04 · Sharing

When information is shared

We do not sell your personal information for money. Data may be disclosed in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. Google provides Firebase and Google Mobile Ads. Google and participating advertising partners may process data under their own privacy terms to provide, measure, personalize, secure, and improve their services.
  • Legal and safety reasons. Information may be disclosed if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; protect rights or safety; investigate abuse; or enforce our terms.
  • Business changes. If the App or its business is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required.
  • With your direction. We may share information when you ask or consent to it.

For certain U.S. state privacy laws, personalized advertising may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising even where no money changes hands. See “Your choices” below for controls.

05 · Choices

Your privacy choices

  • Local game data: clear the App’s storage in your device settings or uninstall the App. This deletes locally stored progress and settings from that device. Device backups may be managed separately through your operating-system account.
  • Advertising ID: reset or delete the advertising ID using your Android privacy settings, where supported.
  • Ad personalization: manage Google ad settings at My Ad Center and use the advertising privacy controls available in your Android device settings.
  • Network access: you may play core game features offline, although online services and ads will not work without a network connection.
  • Communications: you can choose what information to include when contacting us and may ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to legal retention duties.
06 · Retention & security

How long data is kept and protected

Local data remains on your device until it is overwritten, cleared through device settings, or removed when you uninstall the App, subject to operating-system backup behavior.

Firebase installation IDs are retained by Firebase until deletion is requested through applicable Firebase mechanisms; Google states that data is removed from live and backup systems within 180 days after such a request. Advertising and service data is retained by Google and advertising partners according to their policies and legitimate operational needs. Support messages are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain records, protect legal rights, and comply with law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information involved. Google states that data collected by the Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit using TLS and that Firebase encrypts data in transit using HTTPS. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

07 · Children

Children’s privacy

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

Parents and guardians should supervise children’s device and advertising settings. The App’s store-listing target audience and advertising configuration should be reviewed before distribution in any country with different age requirements.

08 · Rights

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection; withdraw consent; opt out of targeted advertising or certain sharing; and appeal a decision. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a request, email us using the address below and describe the request and your jurisdiction. We may need to verify the request. Because BlockLoom does not use accounts and we do not receive your locally stored game progress, we generally cannot identify or retrieve that local data; you can delete it directly on your device. Requests about information processed independently by Google should be directed to Google using its privacy controls.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

09 · International transfers

Processing across borders

Google and other service providers may process information on servers located outside your country. Privacy laws in those places may differ from those where you live. Where required, providers use recognized transfer mechanisms and safeguards. Consult Google’s privacy documentation for more information about its global processing practices.

10 · Updates

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy at the same public location and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where required by law.

11 · Contact

Questions or requests?

Contact BLUE STORE, the developer and operator of BlockLoom, for privacy questions, complaints, or rights requests. Include “BlockLoom Privacy” in the subject line so we can route your message correctly.
